Drexel leverages its supplier and community partner relationships to bring organizations who are hiring and training partners who are recruiting in front of community members to learn about employment opportunities and career training programs for which they are interested and qualify. Career workshops convene employers, workforce training organizations, and community career seekers at the Beachell Family Learning Center.

In this program, the Beachell Center staff recruits a local audience for both in-person and online workshops. We welcome a representative audience from the West Philadelphia neighborhoods and the Greater Philadelphia area and boast a placement rate of 34%.
